Subject Associated Activity 7: Ozone Day Celebration

Today is 16th September, n Devu called me yesterday night, asking for to deliver a speech on Ozone . Then only I realized the significance of the day and had a quick preparation for the same.  It was conducted as a p art of our subject associated activity by the Department of Physical Science students under the coordination of Devu A.M. The celebration was conducted in online-mode. Students from all department participated in the programme. World Ozone Day is observed on September 16 every year. It is celebrated to spread awareness among the people about the depletion of the ozone layer and search for possible solutions to preserve it. On this day people from all over the world hold talks and seminars o the topic. The Ozone layer was discovered in 1913 by the French Physicist Charles Fabry and Herg Buyssan. Teacher's Day Celebration

Kaviyattu College of Education Pirappancode celebrated Teacher's Day. Due to the present pandemic scenario, the programme was conducted online. It was conducted on September 6, 2021 in accordance with the National Teacher Day (September 5). The program of English Department was started with a talk on the life story of Babar Ali, who is known as the youngest headmaster in the world. It was inspirational to the young pupil teachers. It was followed by a speech that commemorated the former president Dr S Radhakrishnan and about the importance of teachers’ day. One of the students of English Department had recorded a video of a dance performance ‘Guruvand
