" How to set up a science club in a school? Write down the different stages of it formation?"  When I wrote it's answers for S2 University examination I never thought I would be lucky enough to participate in the process very soon.It was a great start!   Have a look!

Special morning assembly and quiz program were conducting in regard with world population day.  Need of population control and sustainable development were discussed by student representatives.  Later social science club conducted a quiz competition where  Anugraha DS of 8D, Achyuth Venugopal of 9E and Arjun of 10 E won first, second, and third respectively.  Let's have a quick recap of the day

Ekta- our community living camp

Glimpse of Community Living Camp  Who loves not camps? I'm not different. From naming it to , decoration to, coordination to, execution, we all were there united, just like the camp's name sounded "Ekta" (unity) . The name was suggested by Bhavana of Natural Science and we all loved it! Promo was created by Aparna JS of English. Brochure was done by Shajil n Sreeram. The main coordinators were Nishitha Prem n Abhijith.  The first day ( 28 th Feb) started with inaugural ceremony. Thankamma teacher, Secretary Kaviyattu Trust lightened the lamp. Our Principal Dr. k.V Kunjiraman was the chair of the meeting. Next was a guidance class for future teachers in us by Dr Sunil Raj, consultant psychologist. Demonstrations made this session very much interactive and enjoyable. Capacity Building Programme : Women's Day Celebration

It was just after the camp, we got another opportunity to explore new dimensions within us- Women's Day Celebration!   Sarika teacher selected me to coordinate the event, and Shajil and Nishitha volunteered their whole hearted cooperation to coordinate the event.  The main events were a fusion of poems based on women's lives, it included Amma and Kothampumanikal by ONV Kurup , Sakhi by Vijayalakshmi Chullikadu. Megha, Akshaya, Arathy and Syga recited the poems. Then Greeshma presented a dance composition on "Thadaka enna Dravida Rajakumari" by Vayalar. Later it was my turn to deliver a speech on Gender equality and teacher's Role in it. The most interesting event was the tabloid on Raja Ravi Varma's women. The  mime by team commerce on the problems faced by women were quite heart touching. Valentines Day Celebration : Amour 2k22

 After a short break, back to college; that too on February 14! People wanted to celebrate valantines day. And we celebrated it by writing love letters, sharing memories of past crush n breakups n playing silly dare games on love! It was fun indeed. 

The Republic Day Quiz: School Based Activity Conducted on 4th February 2022

We have conducted an online quiz competition for Highschool students on 4th February in regard with the republic day celebration 2022. The program began with an introductory speech and presentation by Gowry Krishna followed by Quiz competition conducted by Parvathi R. Devi. The first and second prizes were secured by Prajin and Devananda of 8D. Subject Associated Activity 7: Ozone Day Celebration

Today is 16th September, n Devu called me yesterday night, asking for to deliver a speech on Ozone . Then only I realized the significance of the day and had a quick preparation for the same.  It was conducted as a p art of our subject associated activity by the Department of Physical Science students under the coordination of Devu A.M. The celebration was conducted in online-mode. Students from all department participated in the programme. World Ozone Day is observed on September 16 every year. It is celebrated to spread awareness among the people about the depletion of the ozone layer and search for possible solutions to preserve it. On this day people from all over the world hold talks and seminars o the topic. The Ozone layer was discovered in 1913 by the French Physicist Charles Fabry and Herg Buyssan. Conducted Onam celebration via google meet. Malayali manka, Purishakesari, Athapookkalam competition were conducted by sending pictures to the respective judges prior to the event. They were exhibited during the meet before passing judgements. Memories related with Onam were also shared by the staff and students. 

Subject Associated Activity 6: Moon Day Celebration

Moon Day Celebration was conducted in online mode today. It included a documentary presentation and a quiz competition for the students of our college. Principal inaugurated the program. Students actively participated in the quiz.

World Earth Day Celebration

Without green, there won't be any blue, yellow and red! Let's save the earth by spreading more green.  I got this grape plantlet from amazon , and was waiting to do the soil preparation. It requires high organic carbon content soil with medium water holding capacity. Organic fertizers with rich phosphate content can be used periodically for better growth

September 1893 made him famous as a writer by divine rights, and as a messenger of Indian wisdom to The Western world. For three years he spread the Vedanta philosophy and religion in America and England and then returned to India. He founded the Ramakrishna Math and mission on 1st May 1897. In 1898 he established Belur Math. In June 1899 he left India for a second visit to the west. He returned to Belur Math in December 1900.The rest of his life was spent in India, inspiring and guiding people. He has dedicated his life to guiding others for a pure and true spiritual path. His health destroyed and Swami Vivekananda breathed his last on 4th July 1902 at the Belur Math leaving behind the Immortal Legacy not just in the heart of his contemporaries but for all generations to com

Department of physical science has conducted a quizz competition on Swami Vivekanda on his birth anniversary,  12th January 2021, t hursday at 11 a.m. All students from various departments participated in the quiz competition. The competition was based on the profile of Swami Vivekananda. We all know that we are celebrating National Youth Day being the birthday of Swami Vivekananda. National Youth Day is also known as Vivekananda Jayanti. In 1984, the Government of India declared this day as the National Youth Day and since 1985 the event is celebrated in India every year. The theme of every year is different. 'Channelizing youth power for nation-building' is the theme of 2021 National Youth Day. The motto of celebration is to make youth aware of Swami Vivekananda's lifestyle and sacrifice. Swami's lecture and writings, deriving their inspiration from Indian spiritual tradition and the broad outlook of his master Sri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa. These were the source of ins...
